	abstract =	{In this work we present a new watermarking method based on
	the discrete wavelet transform of the image. Our approach is a kind of
	spread spectrum technique: the watermark is encoded as a low-intensity
	redundant signal on a broad-band channel (the image spectrum). Wavelet
	transform is used to select perceptually relevant frequencies in the
	image and to exploit masking phenomena. Our approach proved to be
	robust against a plethora of image transformations, including printing
	and re-scanning the image and compressions. Numerical results will be
	presented.},
